Residential quarter “Brodsky”

Bold geometric forms, clear shapes, expensive and rare materials - contemporary Art Deco still follows these rules.

Design of the spacious living room and kitchen/dining area is a high-contrast combination of decorated pristine-white walls and dark hardwood floor. A gilded mirror imitates rays of sunlight and makes the apartment look even larger.

Art Deco can’t be recreated without any proper art object. An exquisite glass chandelier above the dining area serves it well.

Apartments owners are a family with grown-up children. An additional bedroom was added to the project to accommodate them when visiting. Bedrooms are meant to be private and comfortable. Light plain colors were chosen for decorative wall panels, curtains and thick cozy rugs. Master bedroom has a master bathroom and a walk-in closet.

Art Deco’s trademark black and white color combination was used for the master bathroom. This room has a marble floor and walls and gilded elements.

A laundry room was placed as far as possible from bedrooms for owners’ convenience.
